Judge Benny Osorio is a well-regarded legal professional with a decade of experience serving on the bench of the Los Angeles Superior Court. During his time on the bench, he resolved hundreds of legal matters and managed discovery disputes, trials, and settlement conferences. He also served on several key committees, including the Court’s Executive, Technology, and Civil and Small Claims Committees, and was a member of the Technology Workgroup and Online User Group of the Judicial Council’s Center for Judicial Education and Research.
Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Osorio served as a deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County, where he tried over 70 jury trials and was honored as the Deputy District Attorney of the Year for Los Angeles County. Currently, Judge Osorio is a Lecturer in Law at the USC Gould School of Law.
