Judge Pierce began his legal career in 1975 and was driven by a profound interest in history and political science which guided him to pursue legal studies. This passion, instilled by his parents, guided him toward a career that spans across various facets of civil law.

Influenced by family friends who served on the bench, Judge Pierce was inspired to pursue a career as a judge during his time in private practice.
